Vijay Fashions has stood in Bur Dubai since 1986 — longer than most buildings in the neighbourhood. In a city that reinvents itself every decade, one thing has stayed constant: the queue of men outside this atelier, waiting for a suit that fits the way a suit should.
What sets Vijay apart is the depth of craft. Bespoke sherwanis for wedding seasons, board-ready suits for the business district, traditional kanduras with clean Arab tailoring, Pathani suits for the South Asian community, and Indo-Western pieces that bridge the two. Every garment is measured, cut and finished by hand — no shortcuts, no off-the-rack adjustments.
